After finishing as the only unbeaten team in the 2010 FIFA World Cup, the All Whites continue to impress in the world’s biggest sport. As well as supporting our national team, Volkswagen have proudly partnered with New Zealand Football on all levels. Whether it’s grassroots games at the local club, supporting the Small Whites development program or getting behind our national representatives, Volkswagen is with them all the way.

The South Island’s Motatapu mountain bike and off-road running event is about testing your limits, embracing your sense of adventure and enjoying our magnificent landscape. Volkswagen is getting behind this thrilling event by providing support vehicles in the form of our latest 4WD range. With our new Amarok ute, and Tiguan on the ground between Wanaka and Arrowtown, Volkswagen will be close at hand to assist race goers. A great challenge for everyone on the day, it’s the ‘bring it on‘ Kiwi attitude that makes us proud to support this event.

The PGG Wrightson IHC Calf & Rural Scheme combines the efforts and generosity of farmers with New Zealand’s largest rural supply company to raise funds for New Zealanders with an intellectual disability. Launched in 1984, the Calf Scheme is a vital fundraiser – more than 6000 calves are donated annually raising over $1.4m. Rural families rely on IHC. In many of these communities IHC is often the only organisation providing crucial support for people with an intellectual disability and their families.

Volkswagen and IHC enjoy a longstanding commercial relationship. To help the IHC support the local community, Volkswagen supplies the vehicles for the IHC fleet. This year the IHC’s two fundraising coordinators will be using new Tiguans to visit farmers across rural New Zealand to encourage donations. These compact, nimble, efficient and environmentally friendly SUVs make perfect partners for the Calf & Rural Scheme.
