Increased length equates to extra legroom this makes the new Golf a much more spacious car. Plus we’re always looking for ways to perfect every last design detail. You will find the new door mirrors are now in line with the lower edge of the window. This creates an additional window triangle and therefore improves all round visibility. The tail lights blend with the lines of the vehicle and radiate quality design.

Every new Golf is equipped with BlueMotion Technologies as standard – helping to lessen the impact on the environment. The new generation of TDI Diesel and TSI Petrol engines are more compact, weigh less and have a longer life. These engines are up to 19% more fuel efficient plus have up to an 18% reduction in CO2 emissions. The new Golf truly sets a benchmark in sustainable mobility.

To give you even better operating control and have more intensive driving experience, we have invested exceptional ergonomic intelligence in the design of the new cockpit. The centre console is slightly angled towards the driver so that the touch screen of the new infotainment system as well as the air conditioning, ventilation and heating controls are all within very easy reach. To ensure that you will instantly find your bearings in the new Golf, we have positioned all switches and all displays where you would intuitively expect them to be.
