The Passat.

The Passat has been given the now familiar family face that has rolled out across all models giving an unmistakeable Volkswagen design.  Its sleek lines give the air of a far less affordable drive.  Fine chrome trim and 17" Fontana alloys wheels on the Comfortline add a prestigious feel to this more luxury offering.

Inside the Passat which already provides Auto Hold Feature, cruise control, front and rear electric windows, glove compartment with cooling feature also has, in the Comfortline, Climatronic two-zone air conditioning and an optional keyless locking and starting system and leather covered multi function steering wheel with DSG gearshift paddles.  'Conte' fabric is standard in the Trendline whereas 'Vienna' leather upholstery and comfort seats give the Comfortline added luxurious appeal.

Volkswagen has improved the acoustic properties of the Passat tremendously.  The acoustics were optimised by additional sound-absorbing materials in the front, side and rear areas to filter out exterior and engine noises with special attention paid to the windscreen which now includes an acoustic film.
