| The outstanding design of the new MulitivanIt takes just a few moments to decide whether you like someone; just a quick glance is enough. The same is true of the Multivan – it makes a great impression right from the start and long after it has disappeared out of sight. The bumpers are painted in the colour of the vehicle and are complemented by the clear glass headlights. The door mirrors and the charge air intake grille sets inspiring accents at the front of the vehicle, while slim tail lights complete the dynamic look at the rear. Twelve strong colours emphasise the Multivan’s exciting design by giving it a striking appearance. |
Why should you have to worry about safety?When you’re in your Multivan, you should not only feel comfortable, but safe, too. An innovative safety concept supports you while you drive and aims to protect you from injuries in the event of an accident. The cruise control allows you to select and set a speed of 30 km/h or more, while the front and rear park aid always has you covered when manoeuvring. The optional parking assistance system Rear Assist displays pictures taken by the rear view camera on your RNS 510 Radio Navigation System (also optional) to offer you an improved view of the area behind your vehicle. | |
| Space & flexibilityThe Multivan's interior space optimally combines variability, functionality and comfort. It has the flexibility and fittings to be whatever you want - a mobile office, a family wagon, a recreation vehicle, or all the above. The key to its adaptability is its unique rail system. Four slide rails are installed into the floor of the rear cabin which all furnishings are easily and safely mounted onto. Simple. Brilliant. |
Versatile luxuryWith 5 flexible passenger seats in the rear, the Multivan will always accommodate with its sliding, rotating, reclining and removable second row of captain’s chairs. Whilst in the last row, there's a reclining bench seat on a rail system that allows for superb legroom or exceptional boot space. | |
| 4MOTION: The safe all-wheel drive in the new MultivanThey say the journey is its own reward. Look forward to mud, rain and dirt roads as you satisfy your thirst for adventure in the Multivan. The permanent all-wheel drive 4MOTION (optional model, indent order only) supports you on every mile. Should a wheel lose contact with the road due to wet or critical surface conditions, 4MOTION immediately diverts the driving power to the other wheels as required to counter the possibility of wheel spin. The result: increased traction - and driving pleasure. On all surfaces. |
Overall protection- When the vehicle weight is transferred to the front wheels during braking, the Electronic Brake-pressure Distribution (EBD) prevents wheel lock on the rear wheels.
- When a seat belt is not fastened, the seat belt warning gives the driver a visual and acoustic warning as a reminder to fasten up before setting off on your journey.
- The electronic stabilisation programme (ESP), including electronic differential lock (EDL), helps prevent you losing control of the Multivan in dangerous situations through controlled intervention of the brake and engine management.*
- Airbags for the driver and front passenger along with front side and curtain airbags are standard equipment. Additionally, curtain airbags for the outer seats in the passenger compartment can be selected as an option.
- The Anti-lock brake system (ABS) prevents complete wheel lock and therefore significantly improves the vehicle’s manoeuvrability when full braking is applied.
- By monitoring the speed at which the brake pedal is pressed, the Brake Assist system judges reflex or emergency braking to apply the full brake pressure more rapidly.
