When your day-to-day work assignments are tough and demanding, your journey to work should be as comfortable as possible. That’s why the Amarok offers you a variety of comfortable equipment such as the generous head room and leg room, the optional leather fittings for the Highline including heated front seats, and the high-quality air conditioning systems to make everyday life more pleasant.

“Climatic” air conditioning system.

It has an interior sensor, which continually regulates the climate inside the vehicle to meet the desired temperature setting. The degree of temperature, air distribution and blower speed can be adjusted individually.

“Climatronic” air conditioning system.

This system offers 2-zone temperature adjustment for the driver and the front passenger. It recognises the intensity of the sun’s rays and the outside temperature, and adds more or less cool air accordingly. The automatic air distribution mechanism and air quality sensors ensure a pleasant interior climate.

Anti-theft warning system.


Available in conjunction with central locking, this system includes an electronic immobiliser, a back-up horn as an audible warning signal as well as opening protection for the fuel lid, doors and engine compartment lid.

ParkPilot, rear.


A warning tone signalises the distance to obstacles while driving in reverse. In addition to the acoustic warning tone, an optical signal appears on the display of the “RCD 310” radio system.

In case the call of the wild isn’t enough for you, the Amarok offers a variety of attractive sound experiences: the radio systems provide great entertainment for the entire passenger compartment with up to six loudspeakers. And thanks to the hands-free facility (available from your local Volkswagen dealership as a genuine accessory), you can even talk to your loved ones while you’re at the wheel. Now nothing can stand in the way of an exciting yet relaxing drive.

“Touch Phone Kit” Bluetooth hands-free set.

The 2.8" TFT colour touch screen offers state-of-the-art technology and provides you with the highest degree of operating comfort, amongst other things with voice control and a text-to-speech function (available from your local Volkswagen dealership as a genuine accessory).

“RCD 210” radio system.

“RCD 210” radio system.

This radio has an RDS display, an MP3 compatible CD player, an interface for a universal mobile phone provision and either two or four loudspeakers in the driver’s cab with an output of 20 watts each.

“RCD 310” radio system.

It has all the functions of the “RCD 210” and additionally offers two more loudspeakers in the rear compartment as well as a diversity aerial and a large display that is compatible with ParkPilot. The "RCD510" is an option for Highline models and features additional functionality such as a 6.5" colour display, 6-disc CD changer, voice control and rear loudspeakers.
