Transporter Delivery Van Optional Equipment.

The Transporter Delivery van already offers a lot with its standard equipment – but you have a choice of even more. With a multitude of optional extras to choose from, you can configure the ideal vehicle to meet your specific expectations and requirements.

Rear wing door

Rear wing doors are available as an option for the normal and medium high roof Transporters and as standard for high roof Transporters. These doors can, as an optional extra, have an opening angle of 250° on long wheelbase versions and be retained on the side panels. A further option for rear wing doors is that they can be fitted with luggage nets.

“4Style” package*

“4Style” package*

A “4Style” package is available for vehicles with short wheelbase and 4Motion allwheel drive. It includes an aluminium-look front spoiler and side sills, stone chip protective film on the left and right-hand side as well as robust rubber floor mats in the driver’s cab.

Electrically folding door mirrors

The door mirrors can be electrically folded as an optional extra over and above the electric adjustment and heated side mirror functions which are standard equipment.

C rails

C rails

C rails in the roof channels enable roof racks to be mounted flexibly and are only available for vehicles with a normal roof.

Airbags

In addition to the standard airbag for the driver, additional airbags for the front passenger, along with side and curtain airbags for the cab are possible options. The front passenger airbag can be deactivated via a cylinder lock, which is operated with the car key. Side and curtain airbags cannot be ordered if a 2-seater front passenger bench seat is selected.

2-seater front passenger bench seat

2-seater front passenger bench seat

To enable 3 passengers in the front cabin. As an option, the 2-seater front passenger bench seat is available with an additional stowage tray in the backrest that has two integrated cup-holders and a pen-holder.

Deluxe seats

The driver’s and front passenger’s seats with height adjustment and lumbar support can, as an optional extra, be fitted with armrests. The swivelling seats for the cab – available as an option – are always supplied with lumbar support and armrests, but are not available if a partition or height-adjustable seats are required.

Load compartment side panel trim

Load compartment side panel trim

A robust side panel trim up to the roof frame is available for the Transporter. In combination with a high partition without window, this ensures a particularly flexible and effective load compartment.

Rubber floor covering

The load/passenger compartment is available with a robust rubber floor covering as well as loading edge protective trim and step lighting.

RCD 310 radio

RCD 310 radio

This system has all functions of the RCD 210 radio. In addition, a diversity aerial offers the best possible radio reception and it features a large double DIN display. The GALA-function features speed-dependent volume control. Note - this is standard equipment for 400Nm models.

RNS 510 Radio Navigation System

This system has all functions of the RNS 310. In addition, there is a larger touch screen colour display and a 30 GB hard disk. Instead of a CD player, it has an integral DVD player, which can also play films. The display can be used for the optical parking system Rear Assist in conjunction with ParkPilot.

DSG

DSG

The comfortable dual-clutch gearbox DSG combines the agility of a manual transmission with the ease of a conventional automatic gearbox. Changes in gear occur with no interruption of power flow and are so exceptionally smooth that the car’s occupants hardly notice them. For the first time, the dual-clutch gearbox is available in conjunction with 4MOTION.

Cruise control

With the help of the cruise control, you can select and set a speed of 30 km/h or more with the push of a button. The cruise control system can be deactivated by pushing the brake pedal.

Park Aid

Park Aid

Park Aid is a parking aid that warns the driver of the distance to obstacles. In addition to the acoustic warning tone, an optical signal appears on the display of your RCD 310 radio (if this radio is fitted) when you are parking. Front and rear, or rear only park aid can be selected as an option.

Sliding/tilting roof

The sliding/tilting glass roof can be comfortably operated with a rotary switch in the headlining. Automatic pre-selection allows you to control how far the roof is to be opened or tilted. A highly sensitive electronic anti-trap protection stops the roof as soon as it encounters resistance.

Heating for cab seats

Heating for cab seats

Heating is available for all seats in the cab. This can be adjusted separately for the driver’s seat, and for the front passenger’s seat or 2-seater front passenger bench seat.

Auxiliary heater/additional water heater

The auxiliary heater works independently of the heating and ventilation system and can, as an option, be replaced by an additional water heater. Both systems are available with and without radio remote control.

Leather multi-function steering wheel

Leather multi-function steering wheel

The multi-function steering wheel enables drivers to operate the radio, multifunction display and provision for mobile phone, available as an option. All steering wheels are height and rake adjustable as standard.
