What should you pay attention to?
- Do not allow yourself to be distracted from the traffic around you, e.g. by passengers or telephone conversations.
- Never drive when your driving ability is impaired (e.g. by medication, alcohol, drugs)
- Observe traffic rules and the stipulated speed limits.
Proper sitting position for occupantsThe proper sitting position of the driver is important for a safe and relaxed driving.
For your own safety and to reduce the risk of injury in the event of an accident, we recommend making some adjustments in your car.
Adjustment to the vehicle for your safety
- Adjust the steering wheel so that there is a minimum distance between the steering wheel and the chest of 25 cm.
- Adjust the driver’s seat by moving it forwards or backwards so that you are able to fully depress the accelerator, brake and clutch pedals with your knees slightly angled.
- Ensure that you can reach the uppermost point of the steering wheel.
