Learn how to open and close your windows remotely.

First, go into Car > Settings Opening/Closing >Convenience opening and then select “All windows” on your dashboard.

Once it’s set, you can close your windows while locking your car by pressing the lock button for 3s.

To open your windows while you unlock your car, press the unlock button for 3s on your key.

Keep your side mirrors clear when it rains.

Ensure the mirror control button is pointing down towards the heating icon at all times. In this setting, sensors will register when it is raining and will heat your wing mirrors to keep them clear.

Discover how your radio can pick up local radio stations while travelling to other regions.

Go into Radio > Settings > Advanced settings > Automatic frequency control then select “Automatic” for RDS regional. You’re ready for your road trip now.

Keep an eye on your AdBlue®.

A simple visual check will reveal if your car uses AdBlue®. Open up your diesel fuel cap to see if there’s an AdBlue® filler nozzle located next to it. When your vehicle is running low on AdBlue®, a warning will appear on your dash. If you need assistance refilling, you can take your vehicle into to your Volkswagen Authorised Dealer or alternatively you can do this yourself by purchasing a half-gallon (1.89L) container of AdBlue® from your local Volkswagen dealer.

Did You Know?

The Off-Road Function.

There is an off-road function that's great when driving down a steep hill on off-road terrain or slippery roads. Simply press the button with the icon of an Amarok facing downhill to the left of the gear lever. Ensure you turn it off again once back on the road.

Fog Lights with Cornering Function.

Keeping your lights on auto will allow your fog lights to automatically turn on when cornering. This illuminates your direction of travel, making any potential obstacles visible.
