Annie and Bam Bam the Beetle

Ray has spent his lifetime around Volkswagens. He used to race professionally and owned one of the first Golf GTI Mk1 models imported to New Zealand. His drive on the track also followed him into business, where he went on to found the enduring menswear brand Bakers.

Today his focus is firmly on the T‑Roc R, a vehicle he feels aligns perfectly with his life now as a restauranteur and enthusiastic golfer. It delivers the performance and agility he has always enjoyed, combined with the comfort and practicality he values day to day.
